We are Mountain Flower Goat Dairy, a non-profit goat dairy in Boulder, Colorado with a mission to educate and engage our community through the demonstration of sustainable agriculture, humane animal husbandry and land conservation. In 2017, we’re darn proud of all we’ve accomplished and are continually inspired by the many children and adults we’ve had the privilege to meet through our many programs from visiting hours to camps to yoga classes.
While our farm is closed to the public in the winter months, we are hard at work feeding and caring for our 20 goats and preparing for the magical kidding season in March. We are asking you, our community, to help us meet the farm’s needs for the winter months and raise seed funding for the launch a 3 month intensive internship program in 2018. Any gift, $15 or more, will help us see this campaign succeed in no time.
(If we can exceed our $10,000 goal, every additional dollar will help us get a farm truck so we can take the show on the road! We’re often invited to bring our goats to various functions and educate the public offsite and we’d love to be able to do it!)
That being said, no one else can put the “fun” in fundraising quite like Boulder’s only non-profit community dairy, so we’re taking a “fresh” approach to end of year giving by offering you the following as our heartfelt thanks. . .
