The Art of Cheese, led by dairy goat farmer and cheesemaking enthusiast, Kate Johnson, offers comprehensive and hands-on cheesemaking classes in Longmont. Many classes are taught at their “Cheese Education Center” located within the Haystack Mountain Cheese Creamery. Others are taught Farm-to-Table style at Kate’s small dairy goat farm west of Longmont. Every now and then they also teach at local establishments such as cideries, breweries, kitchen supply stores and more.
